As the R&D base of China, Panasonic R&D Center China Co., Ltd.(PRDCC) was established in Beijing in January of 2001. The main R&D efforts of PRDCC is focusing on the filed of AVC network technology, next-generation mobile communication technology, Chinese speech recognition technology, and advanced electronic device technology,etc.

The mission of PRDCC is as the collective R&D Center of China Panasonic Group, make efforts to Contribute to the global business by using Chinese advantages, and contribute to the region by meeting the demands of Chinese customers’ requirements, and drive the development of China and the growth of Panasonic Group by technology and products.

In the near future, PRDCC, together with the research institutes of Panasonic Group, is devoted to the research and development of the most advanced technology of the world. By integrating Matsushita institutions and research centers in China, leveraging benefits of situating in Zhongguancun Hi-tech zone, and strengthening cooperation and technology exchange with universities and research institutions, PRDCC will continue to bring benefits to the society through her research and development results.
